What does Yepstr do?
What is Yepstr?
Yepstr exists because we want to change the game according to our own terms. Because we want to strengthen the Swedish teenagers by giving them the chance to gain both independence and freedom through their own actions. Because we believe that all teenagers deserve a chance to live up to their potential. To do this, we have built a marketplace that connects ambitious teenagers with neighbors in the local area to assist with various tasks such as babysitting, dog walks and gardening. We are convinced that the most important thing is to take the first step in the right direction, and that these first assignments teach some of life's most important lessons - and help young people create their first professional relationships.Conviction as a recipe for successSoon we will arrive on the day of the launch and pirr has started to grow in the stomach of everyone involved. Will we succeed? This is a difficult question, and answering humbly is even more difficult. We will succeed, of course. It is simply that we are building something that we are deeply passionate about, which means that we have already succeeded. We have all lived the story we want to help others create. Take our founder and CEO - Jacob RudbÀck - as an example. As a teenager, he cut lawns in the area where he grew up, and thus met his first mentor at the age of 15. The value of increasing the amount of professional interactions between older and younger at an earlier age is a knowledge rather than a conviction in Jacob. Thanks to the contact with his mentor, Jacob has been able to live in Australia for 5 years, worked on oil rigs and today dared to take the step and start yepstr. Imagine being able to participate and be able to help more young people get started earlier!Jacob's story is not unique among our fantastic team, but Yepstr has a leadership team that has left top positions with salaries that easily cover all their needs and much more, and did so because of their deep passion. Behind these is, moreover, one of the first behind Spotify and some of Sweden's and the USA's most wealthy investors.
