All wages shown in the app are recommendations. We’ve looked at union guidelines for summer job wages by age, and made sure you earn more. The recommended rate is your minimum, but you can always negotiate higher pay with the customer. And as you level up, your recommended rate increases automatically. Pretty sweet, right?

You’ll get your money just minutes after the customer pays—taxed, ready, and yours to withdraw whenever you want.

It’s super important that the payment goes through Yepstr (not via Swish or other methods), otherwise you won’t be covered by insurance, get pension, or vacation pay.

As you complete jobs, get great reviews, level up, and get older, your recommended hourly rate will go up.

There’s no limit to how high your hourly rate can be on Yepstr

You can always negotiate your pay. But not immediately. Build trust first, then negotiate!

For company jobs, you earn at least 140 SEK/hour

Once you qualify for company jobs, tax, pension, and social fees are deducted directly, just like a regular job. That means you’ll get about 70% of the total.

How to negotiate your salary

How to change your hourly rate

Change the rate for a specific customer:

Both you and your customer can change the price through the chat.
Make sure you both are in agreement of the new price.

Change your general rate (what new customers see):

You can change your general rate under "My services" on the "Account" tab.
Note that this only changes the rate for new customers, not your existing ones.

Your salary is taxed and ready to use

When you get paid for a job on Yepstr, your salary is already taxed and ready. Since most users on Yepstr earn less than the yearly tax-free allowance (see skatteverket.se for details), your salary is automatically adjusted so you don’t pay income tax. If you know that you will earn more than the tax-free allowance, you can disable "Jämkning" in your account settings.
